Engineering Master Class with Shawn Nolan
As part of the Long Reach Long Riders raffle to benefit
"Behind the Scenes" and "Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids" at the USITT conference
Shawn Nolan has offered a master class.
Once again this will be in Southern California.
This year the session will focus on issues relating to automated scenery.
Shawn Nolan of Nolan Engineering Services is professional engineer and
was a technical director in regional theatre.
He specializes in engineering for the entertainment industry.
The master class will take place in the afternoon and evening of October 27, 2008.
It will be held at the California State University Fullerton campus in the Department of Theatre and Dance.
A donation to the Long Reach Long Riders is requested of the participants.
This is a masters level session not an introduction to the subject matter.
A proficiency in math and a knowledge of the subject matter will be assumed.
While much useful information will be distributed it is not a certification course of any kind.
